Just Squibbing

Some people are so humanly human they sometimes act unhuman.

People with good intentions- have convinced me that there are numberless ways for one to make a fool of himself.

Trouble makers are no good for anything else — they don't have time.

Oh, well, maybe enemies are valuable things to have around. Who else could we blame for our own errors and blunders?

You behave yourself like a man trying to make a favorable impression, then you sit and listen to those whom you have tried to impress gab about themselves.

Letters are often opened by mistake, but the thing most often opened by mistake is the mouth.

If you have a bitter feeling- toward another then ask yourself the question: If I were in his place would I be as mean to myself as I am to him?

A psychiatrist says excessive fat is a matter of one's frame of mind. Whoop-ee! Bring on the full dishes ladies. Don't worry about the big, gobby frame of mind.

We train our youth to fight and die for democracy, but we make a miserable failure in training them to live for it. -0- Anything worth fighting and dying for must be worth living for. -0- Train a generation of youth to live for democracy and they may not have to fight and die for it.
