Sidney Astin, 820 N. Ury St., Union City, Tenn.,: "Nov. 14 marked the beginning of my work with the congregation in Union City, Tenn., and brought to a close my work in Elizabethtown, Ky. As far as I know, my successor in E'town has not been named. Anyone interested in the work there may contact brother J. R. London, 201 Village Dr., Elizabethtown, Ky. He is one of the elders.

"During the summer months I was in seven meetings. In two of these meetings I led the singing. One meeting was with brother C. W. Scott at Greensburg, Ky., and the other was at E'town with brother Van Dyke (Frank) doing the preaching. I preached in meetings at Clarkson, Ky.; Big Clifty, Ky.; French Camp, Miss; Gladeville, Tenn. (Vesta), and at New Hope congregation out from Big Clifty, Ky. These meetings resulted in 28 baptisms, 16 restorations and five identified with the local congregations. Recently at Elizabethtown, Ky., we baptized two as a result of the radio program. There were also three others baptized, one restored, and two placed membership since the last report.

"The work here in Union City presents a real opportunity. There is a great potential possibility within the congregation here, and it is our prayer and hope that nothing but good might come from our labors with the brethren here."

Henry Buschmann, 1704 N. Derexa Drive, Hamilton, Ohio, Nov 12: "Alvin Holt of Corbin, Ky., preached Oct. 7-17 with unusual interest and results for this community. Personal work of Ellis Webb laid the foundation. We commend both men for their humble devotion to the cause. 38 adult additions this year, 10 baptized, 11 restored, 17 moved here. Morning attendance in October averaged 123 compared with 47 in January. Westview church of Christ is the only one here without mechanical music, although several others wear the name. Write Ellis Webb, 1003 Millsville Ave. for information or to send us names. —The Elders."

James 0. Wilburn, 1703A Hayden, Amarillo, Texas, Nov. 10: "During October I was with the churches at Goodwell and Texhoma, Oklahoma. Am now in a meeting at Gruver, Texas. Alton Wimbish of Spearman is directing the singing and we are having good support from that church with some attending from Perryton and Guymon. Is an elder orderly when he does not answer a courteous letter with stamped, self-addressed envelope for reply?"

T. B. Underwood, Jr., 641 Elma. Street, Akron, Ohio, Nov. 16:" We are bringing our work here to a close the last of December, and are moving to Robstown, Texas. The Thayer Street Church, with which we have labored in this city is one of the finest congregations among us, and has the ability to do a great work in the vineyard of the Lord. The brethren here have treated us with unusual kindness, and have showed us every Christian courtesy. During our work here, the church has grown spiritually, and is increasing in every phase of the church work. The brethren at Robstown have wanted us to move there for some time, and we are anticipating a good work with them."

Bill Humble, 1010 8th St., St. Petersburg, Florida: "James R. Cope, President of Florida Christian College, is scheduled to begin a meeting with the Ninth Avenue congregation on January 14, 1952, to continue through January 28. This announcement is being made for the benefit of many Christians who, already planning a winter vacation to this area of Florida, might like to arrange their plans to be in St. Petersburg for all or part of this meeting."

Rolfe Wagner, 212 North 6th, Carlsbad, New Mexico, Nov. 16: "Two more baptisms since last report, making 29 baptisms, 23 restorations, and 24 placed membership since the first of the year, an addition of 76 to our working force. We have notified the brethren here we are leaving when school is out in May. We would like to locate with a working congregation in Texas, preferably—would consider a good work elsewhere."

W. Curtis Porter, Monette, Arkansas, Nov. 12: "I am to meet Cecil Abercrombie, Anti-Bible Class Hobbyist, in a four nights' debate at East Point, Georgia, beginning December 4. On December 11, I shall begin a four nights' debate with Hoyt Chastain, Missionary Baptist, at Memphis, Tennessee. Also I am to meet Vernon L. Barr, Missionary Baptist, in a six session debate at Pensacola, Florida, beginning February 19."
