Commendation

We, the elders of the Grandview Heights Church of Christ, Nashville, Tennessee, recommend Jesse M. Kelley as a sound gospel preacher and a Christian. While serving this church as its minister he conducted himself as it becomes a gentleman. He has cooperated with us in the work of this church, and at no time has he endeavored to rule the elders or encroached upon us, but has been willing to work under our oversight in all of his duties.

He is leaving us with our good will, and, we believe the good will of the church as a whole.

Signed: E. L. Baird S. A. Huddleston E. B. Woodroof Elders: Grandview Heights Church of Christ

Arley E. Moore, 841 Flanagan Ave., Coos Bay, Ore., Oct. 29: "Two were baptized a few days ago on this western frontier. These baptisms were the result of our radio work. This is a wonderful country, with a most equitable climate and there has been lots of work here. We are in need of a good song leader. If you are a faithful Christian, lead singing and work for a living, why not move here, go to work and help build the church in this mission field? If any who read this know of the presence of Christians In this area, please send me their names and addresses."

W. Wallace Layton, Et. 8, Box 792, Tucson, Arizona; "The meeting at McCamey, Texas, resulted in three baptisms. It was a pleasure to work with Martin Kamstra, the respected and loved local minister. The church is in wonderful condition. I am presently engaged in a meeting with the church in Salem, Oregon. Brother Choice L. Bryant is the local preacher and is doing an outstanding work in this area. This meeting is following a weeks lecture program in which it was my pleasure to speak each night on church organization. From here I go to Molalla, Oregon."
