Napa, California — Jim Puterbaugh, preacher for the St. Helena, California, church will hold a meeting during the week of May 3-10. Ronny E. Hinds is the local preacher.

Dothan, Alabama — The church which meets 701 South Appletree Street, will be engaged in a meeting May 4-10, with Irving Lee doing the preaching. Earl Kimbrough preaches regularly for this church.

Birmingham, Ala. — Frank L. Smith, preacher for the Huffman church, announces a meeting May 3-10. Louis Garrett of Tampa, Florida, will do the preaching.

Filmore, California — Bill Mosely, preacher for the church in Fillmore, announces that John Wilson of San Diego, California, will be with the church, May 3-10. The church meets in the Ebell Women's club building, 2nd and Saratoga.

Pekin, Ill. — The church which meets 1112 16th St. will have a meeting May 3-10. Ed Holt doing the preaching. Gilbert Holt is the local preacher.

New Creatures

One has recently been baptized at the Berrydale church, Garden Grove, Calif., where Floyd Thompson is the local preacher.

William Wallace, preacher for the Belmont church, Indianapolis, Ind., reports two baptisms recently.

One has recently been baptized at Gardena, California, where Don Brown preaches, C. G. Caldwell, preacher for the Rose Hill church, Columbus, Georgia, reports three baptisms for March 8th.

During a recent meeting at the Green's Bayou church, Houston, Texas, there were two baptisms. Oliver Murray did the preaching. Ardie Brown is the local preacher.

Paul Keller, preacher for the Caprock church, Lubbock, Texas, reports a recent baptism.

Two were baptized the latter part of March at the 6th and Merideth church Dumas, Texas, where Derell Shaw is the preacher.

There have been 8 baptized this year at the Westside Church, Fort Worth, Texas, where Bill Crews is the preacher.

During an April meeting at Shreveport, La., there was one baptism. Ardie Brown did the preaching. Huey Hartsell is the local preacher.

There were five baptized during the meeting in Russellville, Ala. Robert Jackson did the preaching. Eugene Crawley is the local preacher.

Johnie Edwards, preacher for the church in Ellettsville, Indiana, reports two baptisms during the month of April.

Jimmy Tuten, preacher for Spring and Blaine, St. Louis, Mo., reports a baptism, Sunday April 5th.

One was recently baptized at the Main Street church, Blytheville, Ark., where Dudley Ross Spears is the preacher.

There have been three baptisms at the Mound and Starr congregation in Nacogdoches, Texas, the first two weeks of April. Brooks Webb is the preacher.

One was baptized during an early April meeting at the church in Glen Burnie, Maryland. Bill Echols did the preaching, J. B. Grinstead is the local preacher.

News Briefs

After four years with the church at Weiner, Arkansas, Carrol Lumpkin is leaving in June. He would be interested in contacting a place that needs a preacher.

Nolan Anderson, preacher for the church in Madrid, Iowa, would like to move to either New Mexico or Arizona. The reason for the move is his wife's health. If any church in that area is in need of a preacher, you may contact him by writing to Madrid, Iowa.

Announcements Received Late

A debate in Lockland, Ohio, and Liberty, Kentucky, between Warren Cheatham and Charles B. Thomas was conducted April 20-21, 23-24. The debate was concerning women teachers and Bible classes.

Ronald Mosby of Valley Station, Kentucky, preached in a meeting at the McKinley Road church, Cincinnati, Ohio, where Warren Cheatham preaches.
