New Creatures

Connie Adams, preacher for the Pine Hills church, Orlando, Florida, reports one baptism for the first Sunday in August.

One was baptized August 5th at Ensley, Birmingham, Alabama, where A. C. Moore preaches.

The meeting at the Flatwood church in Kentucky, with J. R. Snell doing the preaching, resulted in one baptism.

An 85 year old man was baptized the first Sunday in August at the church in Edna, Texas, where Albert Jottings is the preacher.

Three have been baptized recently at the Walnut Street church, Greenville, Texas, where Ward Hogland is the evangelist.

During a July meeting with the Riverside Drive church, Nashville, Tenn., there were six baptisms. Ward Hogland did the preaching. Robert Jackson is the regular preacher.

During May one was baptized at the church in Sacramento, California, where Forrest D. Moyer is the preacher.

During a meeting at Haynesville, La., with Hoyt Houchen doing the preaching, there were five baptisms. B. J. Thomas is the local preacher.

Two have been baptized recently at the Rose Hill church, Columbus, Ga., where C. G. Caldwell, Jr. preaches.

Five have been baptized recently at Shively, Louisville, Kentucky, according to Glen Shaver, the local preacher.

Meetings

Lewisburg, Tenn. — S. L. Edwards, preacher for the church in Lewisburg announces a meeting for Sept. 14-20. with Robert Jackson doing the preaching.

Wichita, Kansas — The church which meets at 3317 N. Amidon. will have a meeting Sept. 13-20, with Cecil Willis doing the preaching. The local preacher is Don Willis.

Preachers To New Locations

Floyd Chappellear has moved from West Portsmouth, Ohio, to the Northside church, Fort Wayne, Indiana. The church in Fort Wayne is only four years old, and is small in numbers, but willing to stand for the truth. The building is located at 2915 Kentucky Ave. All visitors are welcomed.

After two years with the church in Saratoga, Arkansas, A. O. Raney has moved to work with the East Houston Road church, Houston, Texas. His address is: 9307 Presa St., Houston, Texas-77028; Phone GL. 8-2432.

News Briefs

Robert A. Bolton, of the West Pleasant Run church, Lancaster, Texas, preached in a gospel meeting at the Rivermont church, Chester, Va., August 2-8. As a result of personal invitations and also mailing out over 40 invitations and literature to the members of the liberal church in Hopewell, four families attended and we are looking forward to good results from the effort. The way has new been opened to us to do some teaching concerning the issues confronting the church. We also had several visitors from the community with whom we plan to begin a teaching program. This report was sent in by Leo Rogol, the local evangelist.

After twelve days in the hospital, Cecil Douthitt has returned to his home in Louisville, Kentucky, and is making a rapid recovery. He takes this means of thanking all of his friends who sent cards during his illness. He reports there was no malignancy.

The Emerson Ave. church, Indianapolis, Ind., plans a new building early next year. It will be located on High School Road and 31st St. Loren N. Raines is the local preacher.
