Statement

To Whom This May Concern:

In recent weeks reports from different parts of the country have come to us that such sins as dancing, immodest apparel, mixed bathing, and other such like sins cannot be taught against from the pulpit and that we hold a weak attitude toward the current issues in the church.

We wish to say, to anyone who may be concerned, that this is not true. Our stand is against such sins and issues. It is our prayer that the church of Christ be kept pure and as Christ built it, doing the work which He assigned it. This we believe can be accomplished by preaching the whole truth of the gospel frequently and boldly.

We are very optimistic about the work here. The church is growing in love, knowledge, zeal and numbers. We solicit your prayers and invite you to worship with us when traveling through Amarillo.
