New Creatures
Robert L. Love, preacher for the Calmont church, Fort Worth, Texas, reports one baptism the first Sunday in October, During a recent meeting at the Floral Heights church, Wichita Falls, Texas, there were seven baptisms. Luther Blackmon preached in the meeting. Joe Scarborough is the local preacher.
One has recently been baptized in Hanceville, Alabama, according to Edward O. Bagwell, the local preacher.
Two were baptized the last Sunday in September at the church in Alameda, California, according to Edward Brouillette, the preacher.
Leslie Diestelkamp, preacher for the Galena Park church in Aurora, Ill., reports one baptism during a recent meeting with Sewell Hall.
There were two baptisms the first Sunday in October at Spring and Blaine, St, Louis, Mo. Jimmy Tuten is the preacher.
During a recent meeting in Morton, Texas, there were two baptisms, George Patterson did the preaching. Lee Sergent is the local preacher.
A. A. McInroe, preacher for the Southside church in Midland, Texas, recently conducted a meeting in Dallas, Texas, where J. R. Lewis is the preacher. One was baptized.

There were six baptisms during the recent meeting at Danville, Kentucky. Grover Stevens of Louisville, Ken., did the preaching.

Newbern, Tenn. — John Iverson of Port Arthur, Texas, will be with the church in Newbern, Tenn., Nov. 3rd-10th, according to an announcement from Jesse Kelley, the local preacher.
Lexington, Kentucky — The University Heights church, meeting 328 Clifton Ave., will have a meeting Nov. 4th-10th, with B. G. Hope of Bowling Green, Kentucky, doing the preaching. Bob Crawley is the local preacher.
Houston, Texas — Oliver Murray of Lufkin, Texas, will be with the Cloverleaf church, Nov. 3rd-10th. Billy Elmer preaches regularly for this church.

Nacogdoches, Texas — The church which meets at the corner of Mound and Starr, will have James Adams of Oklahoma City in a meeting, Nov. 4th-10th. Brooks Webb is the local preacher.
Louisville, Kentucky — The Manslick Road church will have a meeting Nov. 4th-l0th, with W. C. Sawyer doing the preaching. Bill Liggin is the regular preacher.
Louisville, Texas — James Needham, preacher for the Expressway church, announces a meeting for Nov. 4th-10th with Dudley Ross Spears doing the preaching.

Louisville, Kentucky — The Haldeman Ave. church will have a meeting, Oct. 27-Nov. 3rd, with Robert Williams doing the preaching. Cecil Douthitt is the local preacher.
Shelbyville, Term — The El Bethel church will have a meeting, Oct. 20-26th with a different speaker each night. Time of services are 7:30 each evening.

William M. Deuell, has recently moved from Gilbert, Arizona, to Summerfield, Ohio, to work with the church there. His address is: Box 23, Summerfield, Ohio.
News Briefs
Santa Clara, California — After meeting two and half years in the I. O. O. F. hall the church in Santa Clara has moved into their own building located 1755 Catharine Street. (Correspondents please note change of address.) The church was activated in Santa Clara with most of its members coming from the Sunnyvale congregation. Their first gospel meeting will be conducted from Oct 10th-16th, with Don Wilson of Northridge, California, doing the preaching. Don McMillen is the local evangelist.
Jacksonville, Texas — Clyde Strickland moved to Jacksonville, Texas, last summer to work with the Southside church. They have made some progress since his move there, both in attendance and contributions. He is being supported primarily by other congregations. His total support is $625 per month. He has a wife and five children to support out of this. Out of this total amount he also must pay his house rent and utilities. He also, out of his salary, pays for a weekly radio broadcast, amounting to $8 per week. He could use about $50 more per month in order that he can continue with this broadcast.
