Don Rudd — John W. Wilson Debate

There will be a public debate April 12-15, 1960 to be held in the Lincoln Elementary School Auditorium at Delta, Colorado. Brother Don Rudd will represent the church at Delta, and Brother John W. Wilson will represent the church at Paonia, Colorado. The auditorium can seat several hundred and there are ample living facilities at Delta. Everyone is cordially invited and especially those in the Western Slope of Colorado. We all feel that this can be a period of study and association that can profit us all. If further information is desired contact the church at Delta, 12 & Grand, or the church at Paonia, Box 566.

The following are the PROPOSITIONS:

"It is in harmony with the Scriptures for churches of Christ to contribute funds from their treasuries in support of such an arrangement as the Herald of Truth radio program as a means of cooperating in accomplishing the mission of the church of the Lord."

It is contrary to the Scriptures for churches of Christ to build or maintain benevolent organizations, such as Boles Home, Tipton Home, Childhaven, and other benevolent organizations of the same nature."
