"I Predict"
An endeavor is made by Brother Roy Deaver, in Gospel Advocate of November 29, to show that Cecil Douthitt fell flat on his blushing face in the Houston Debate. "I predict," and with more chance of certain accuracy than Drew Pearson ever predicted, that Cecil will not get a chance to reply to Deaver's endeavor to discredit him in the minds of the brethren.
Brother Goodpasture recently, as he has done often before, quoted from a former writer and editor of the Advocate to prove that they were all for orphan homes, as they are operated. Now, B. C., we should like to see an article emphasizing that all these former editors always gave space to a brother, when attacked, to defend himself. If you cannot find examples, I shall be glad to supply them.
