Edward O.Bragwell, Pontotoc, Mississippi, July 2: "The work is coming along nicely here at Pontotoc. Three were baptized into Christ the last two weeks. Brother Gardner Hall of Birmingham, Alabama will begin a meeting here August 5."

E. Lacy Porter, Ridgley, Tennessee, June 21: "One man was baptized here last Sunday night. Our meeting will begin July 15, with Brother Ernest Boone doing the preaching. My first meeting for the summer will be with the Cedar Hill congregation, near Columbia, Tennessee, beginning July 29."

W. Earl Mansur, 19551 Walby Way, Reseda, California, June 25: "Work with the good church at 7054 Winnetka Avenue in Canoga Park continues pleasant and in some ways we are growing. My father, W. H. Mansur, a pioneer gospel preacher in Oklahoma, has been bedfast for nearly three months; there is little hope for his recovery. He has been and will continue to be under constant hospital care in Van Nuys. We take this means of letting his many friends in the brotherhood know his condition."

J. C. Choate, Box 33, Belzoni, Mississippi, June 27: "A number have become members of my book club. If you would like to become a member and receive the first selection, or if you would like some information, then let me hear from you immediately. This club that I speak of deals specifically with books of sermon outlines, sermons, and lectures."

Earl Fly, Box 197, Valley Station, Kentucky, June 20: "On June 12 I moved from Medina, Tennessee to begin work with the church at Valley Station. This congregation began in 1952 and now has about 140 members. It is located on the Dixie Highway, a fast growing area near Louisville, and opportunities for future growth are almost unlimited. Brother James Cooper, the former evangelist, has moved to Campbellsville, Kentucky to establish a new congregation in that town of 3500, the only one in Taylor County."

Paul H. Williams, Rt. A, Poplarville, Mississippi, June 16: "We are making steady progress in raising the necessary funds to enable us to go to Durban, South Africa to preach the gospel. All but $85 per month of our support has been assured. We still need $1,000 pledged on our return fund (to be ready in five years) and 700 to pay off our car before we leave. We hope to sail in three to four months. If I can speak for the church where you are, please let me know."

E. B. Shepherd, 1925 Makiki St., Honolulu, T. Hawaii, June 22: "Service personnel rotating to Hawaii will find the place of worship corner of Keeaumoku and Dominis. Downtown Punahoe-University bus to corner of of Keeaumoku and Wilder. Block and half toward the mountain. Three have been baptized from Kailua and two here the past ten days. We shall be glad to do our best to contact service men who have been sent here if friends on the Mainland will send us their names and addresses."

Wm. E. Wallace, Akron, Ohio, June 26: "I begin work in Owensboro, Kentucky for the Central congregation August 1, 1956. I am leaving Thayer Street in Akron — a good solid church that has an eldership that will not submit to the liberal influences running loose over the brotherhood. There are a few fellows in this immediate area that are kicking their heels up, but most of the congregations in the Akron-Cleveland area stand against the 'Herald of Truth' and other departures and innovations. My address in Owensboro will be 87 Woodford Avenue."

Thomas F. Shropshire, Box 153, Ranger, Texas, July 2: "I concluded a meeting with the church in Gallup, New Mexico last Wednesday evening. Interest was good throughout and one lady was restored and her husband was baptized. The attendance was good in the services of the Eastside church here in Ranger yesterday. I have resigned the work with the church here and will be moving as soon as I can get located elsewhere. I would be glad to hear from places desiring the services of a gospel preacher."

Melvin Rose, 1605 Park Ave., Red Bluff, California: "The church here in Red Bluff began in November of 1954. We have grown from seven to twenty members during the past two and a half years. We finished work on a modest but a most suitable building in January of this year. There have been seven baptisms and three restorations since occupying the building. The church at East Long Beach, California, and a good brother in Los Angeles contribute directly to my full support in this 'mission' work. Is there some brother in the country who will move to Red Bluff and lead singing for us? Work will soon be plentiful here; a $15 million dollar factory now under construction will bring 1,000 families to this city! Write me for information."

John Bullock, 1900 Turtle Creek Drive, Marshall, Texas, June 23: "Our meeting here at South Washington has just closed with W. L. Wharton doing the preaching. Five responded to the invitation, three were baptized and two restored. Chairs were used to seat the overflow crowd the first Sunday of this gospel effort. All seemed to appreciate Brother Wharton and his splendid lessons. During the past six weeks 15 have answered the gospel call. I am doing the preaching in a meeting at Jefferson, Texas this week. I have meetings in Teal, Texas, and Transylvania, Louisiana during July and August."

E. A. Maddox, 159 Jackson St., Sulphur Springs, Texas, June 27: "I will begin a meeting at Okay, Oklahoma August 26. Because of the failing health of my wife, I have not been able to go away from home for meetings, but as she passed away May 11 I wish now to get all the work I can. Brethren please call me for your meeting — anywhere. Don't ask me what I charge for I am not a hireling. I just want to be busy preaching the gospel."

Charles Hodge, Box 766, Seagoville, Texas, June 24: "There have been 37 responses to the invitation during the past six months. Several attendance records have been set with the record now 229. The VBS was the best attended ever with a 345 average and 374 high. The 1956 directory contains 172 members. The congregation is sponsoring two local mission meetings and sending me to two meetings in the Northwest. The church is strong, at peace, and united. When near Dallas worship with us."

Paul Brock, Box 154, Dyersburg, Tennessee, June 25: "After four pleasant years, we moved from Bradenton, Florida to Dyersburg April 1. Since coming here I have preached in three meetings: Franklin, Tennessee, where Charles Holt preaches, here in Dyersburg, and Findley in Sparta, Tennessee, where Edward Anderson is the preacher. Sixteen have been baptized and five restored. In two meetings in Florida, February and March, nine were baptized. Those who are interested will please note the change of address."

Charles E. Stovall, Box 31, Carrollton, Georgia, June 22: "The work here at Carrollton moves along in a good way. Recently there have been four baptisms. A daily (Monday through Friday) radio program was launched over the local station, WLBB, 1100 k.c. This program is pretty much a question and answer type program. Thus far we have had excellent response to the broadcast. A number of questions have been sent in by means of cards and letters and telephone calls. We believe that much good will result from this effort. Georgia is in need of the gospel.. There are 159 counties and 105 of these have no New Testament church."
