Bill Carmack, Waynoka, Oklahoma, July 22: "The first Sunday of August will mark the end of approximately a year's work for the church at Waynoka. The brethren here are zealous Christians who are constantly alert to advance the Kingdom in this region where it is rather weak. I have resigned to accept a position as instructor in speech at Central Christian College, Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Brother Jimmy Campbell will succeed me here."

Robert H. Bell, 672 Nineteenth St., San Diego, California, July 20: "Our work here at Central, 18th and "G" Streets in San Diego is in fine condition. I closed my fourth meeting with the church in Laton, California July 13th. The few remaining members are faithful, and though we did not reach any outsiders with the gospel, the church was made stronger. I preached in Hanford on Wednesday evening the 14th. I formerly lived in Hanford. They have a new building which is a credit to the community. I leave the 26th for meetings in Tennessee during the month of August. Will preach at Preston Road in Dallas, Texas enroute on Wednesday evening the 28th. Twelve years ago we worshipped with this good church. It will be a pleasure to return. My first meeting in Tennessee will be with my home congregation, Locust Grove, near Bradford. I held my first meeting with them in 1944. On July 15th I begin a meeting with the church in Plant, Tennessee."

Murray Marshall, 2711 Reagan, Dallas, Texas, July 21: "Oak Lawn Church here, assisted by Peak and East Side, sent me to Pine City, Minnesota for a mission meeting July 2-11. First meeting in the new church building there, erected through sacrifice of the 11 members, and assisted by generous brethren elsewhere. Three hundred percent attendance and better during the meeting, almost 500 percent several times. One baptized, one restored, or visible results amounting to almost 20 percent of the number of members, or like a meeting in a congregation of 400 members in which there would be 36 baptisms and 36 restorations! A working congregation, one of ten in the great state of Minnesota, where in ten years time the Cause has grown from one congregation, an increase of 1,000 percent in ten years. Brethren, look to Minnesota. Take vacation trips there. Help in the great work there. Some mighty fine men in the field there, more needed and more support needed. You, too can help. The meeting there has been one of the great experiences in my preaching life."

Doyle Banta, 1309 Ninth Avenue S.E., Decatur, Alabama, July 20: "On July 19th we moved from Decatur, Alabama to work with the Somerville Road Church where Brother O. C. Lambert has done a good work. We enjoyed three years and ten months work with West Helena, Arkansas. Granville W. Tyler of Pampa, Texas is to move to West Helena, Arkansas on August 23rd to devote full time to the work. We anticipate a good work in Decatur. My first meeting is at Lovell's Chapel near Athens, Alabama."

Ross O. Spears, Bolivar, Missouri: "Three have placed membership and three have been baptized here recently. We have just closed our first Vacation Bible School. Forty-two attended with thirty-five whose parents were not members of the church. We count it as a success and fruitful of much future good. Three mission meetings are planned for the late summer. We solicit the prayers of all."

O. C. Lambert, Winfield, Alabama, July 22: "Last Lord's day I concluded my labors with Somerville Road Church, Decatur, Alabama. My friends will please note my permanent address, as I have bought a home in Winfield and plan to give full time to meetings, lectures and to writing. I am making an extended tour of the Northwest in the fall, lecturing on Roman Catholicism. My book, Roman Catholicism Against Itself, will come from the press in about three months."
