I visited the new congregation here in Pittsburg last night (Union Hall, 7th and Cumberland). All are growing."

New attendance records were made in all phases of our work. A. C. Williams did effective preaching and O. F. Shewmaker was an asset in directing the singing. One was baptized and three restored. Thomas Huckaba directed the singing. I began in Christiansburg, Virginia, Wednesday and will continue until April 26. A. Our Monday through Friday radio program is attracting more listeners than any program I have ever broadcast. Hear it! WPOD, 1240 Ice., Paducah, Kentucky."

Will W. Slater, Box 343, Hydro, Oklahoma, April 13: "The Lectureship in Hydro was successful in many ways. Brethren Davis, Crumley, Sparks, Finley, Shackelford, and Trent were the speakers. Two were baptized — a soldier boy and a man about 60 years old. We are indeed grateful to these brethren for their splendid work and cooperation. It instilled enthusiasm in the members, and the church is going forward with greater determination to do more for the Master's Cause. This leaves me in a meeting in El Reno, Oklahoma. Brother Max Crumley is doing the preaching and I am conducting the song service. Fine attendance and good interest."

Tice Elkins, 4428 Gresham St., San Diego 9, California, April 8: "Dear Brother Editor: If you get a carbon copy, please do not be offended. I am too ill, nervous and upset to write more than a very few letters yet I desire greatly to notify my many friends who send cards, letters and a few send a dollar or two for books and for help, that we thank every one from our hearts, but it is impossible for me to answer personally each one. May they please be satisfied to know that our hearts are glad to hear from them. Also, I want to inform all that I have a good stock of all the books and tracts I have ever written, and your order for all such can be filled promptly hereafter. My son will do that. It seems to be the belief of many that "Ma"
Elkins moved from New Mexico to California. This is a mistake. She came with me to help take care of me for a time. She has gone back home to take care of our place and few possessions there, but will return here to help take care of me as soon as she can arrange to come. I am advised by all doctors who examine me that I cannot live in the New Mexico altitude any more. I hope that many will order my books, for I sorely need the money to pay doctor and drug bills and for other expenses. If you desire, send me a card for price list of all books and tracts I have. With love and gratitude to every one, I am your brother, Tice Elkins."

M. F. Manchester, Comanche, Texas, April 13: "We closed a good meeting last night with Brother Cecil B. Douthitt of the Southside church in Brownwood doing the preaching, and it was fine indeed. There were eight baptized and one placed membership. I will hold the brethren a meeting in Brownwood sometime in the future. The work here is in good shape."

Richard Weaver, 110 Division St., Smyrna, Tennessee, April 13: "This is my first report since last summer. At that time we installed a new gas heating system, insulated the building and the men of the church painted the basement. This $2,000 improvement was paid for with the surplus accumulated in the treasury in our first fifteen months of work here. The balance in the treasury when we came was $17. Brother Billy Nicks did the preaching and his father, T. A. Nicks, led the singing in a good meeting for us in the fall.

Brother O. P. Baird, Wilmington, N. C., preached one night in January. Smyrna is assisting financially in the great work he is doing there. Interest and attendance continues high. One was recently baptized from Sewart Air Force Base which is located here. Three others in the last two weeks have been baptized. Brother Edward J. Craddock is to preach in our spring meeting May 17-24."

Willis G. Jernigan, 1401 Ash St., Commerce, Texas, April 12: "The work here is making progress in a very fine way. Our Bible school attendance last Lord's day was ten more than double the attendance of last June, the month we returned to Commerce. Our spring meeting begins April 19 with Brother E. W. McMillan as preacher. The Kamay meeting closed April 9. Seven were baptized and four restored. Brother Dennis Kellog directed the song service. The work in Commerce continues in a very fine way. One restored at the morning service.
