L. Arnold Watson, 7350 Chase, Dearborn, Mich., June 18: "Our mission meeting at Monroe, Mich., resulted in three baptisms: a man and wife, another woman whose husband we expect to see obey the Lord soon. Fairly good attendance was had throughout from the community and fellowship by neighboring congregations in Toledo, Flat Rock, Taylor Center, Adrian and Dearborn was exceptionally fine. I am now currently engaged in a meeting at Mertzon, Texas, my fourth. With the start of yesterday, attendance seems to be higher than previous. Day services are being tried at an earlier hour this year-7:30 a.m. The first such service this a.m. saw a new record set for this congregation. From here I go to Anson, Texas, beginning July 1 for eleven days."

James C. Bays, 2639 Mason Terrace, Wichita 16, Kansas, June 18: "With 232 in Bible study and approximately 100 more for the morning worship, 200 at the seven thirty hour; our initial service with the Southside congregation was off to a fine start yesterday. Long, faithful and constructive was the work of my predecessors here. This makes the work in good condition. For thirty-nine months we were with the saints in Smyrna, Tenn. Some there are of the best to be found. They stood by me nobly while was finishing at David Lipscomb College... Worship with us when in Wichita at 1144 So. Emporia.'
