Ernest A. Finley, 250 N. Millwood Ave., Wichita 12, Kan., May 21: "Do you need a song leader during the summer months? I know a young man who is a student in Abilene Christian College who is a capable singer. He could assist some congregation during June, July, August and perhaps part of September. If interested, write me, and I will send you his name. I have time for one more meeting during June or July. We continue with our broadcast each Sunday morning at 8:00 o'clock over KANS, 1480 kc. Will W. Slater, Box 7178 Sylvania Station, Fort Worth 11, Texas, May 29: "April 10-29 I was with the church in Prosser. Taught eight nights singing, followed with a meeting. May 1-20 I was with the church in Sedro Woolley. Only about 17 members, but workers. I taught eight nights singing, followed by a meeting. Brother W. A. Harrison is their minister; a fine man and a good worker. Cleburne, Texas church is sending $50.00 per month on his support. The brethren purchased a resident building, remodeled it and made a nice meeting place, They, of course, are not financially able to support a preacher, and at the same time keep up building and other expenses. So, for the present, brother Harrison is working in a grocery store to help out. He preaches over the radio every Lord's day morning, preaches at a mission point some 35 miles away in the afternoon besides his home work. The burden is heavy but the work is needed so badly that he is determined to "keep on keeping on.' The state of Washington is a great mission field. Numbers and numbers of towns and cities from 1,000 to 25,000 population where the gospel has never been preached, and where the church is unknown. Seattle is a city of 500,000 population with less than 200 members of the church. What are we going to do about it, brethren? If the elders of the congregations in our part of the country would take over the "pulpit' for three or four Sundays and send your regular ministers to Colorado, Utah, Idaho, Wyoming and Washington, maybe the Cause of Christ could be built up in these North-Western states. I know we have many members in the South and East that will not attend services unless we have a preacher to "entertain" them, but maybe you elders could entertain them for a few Sundays. I believe the Bible says something about the elders "feeding the flock.' Suppose you try "feeding' for a few Sundays, and send your preachers to this great mission.

John T. Smithson, Detroit, Mich., May 28: "The meeting at the East End Church of Christ continues with interest. No additions to date. There may be some before the meeting ends."

Paul H. Epps, Box 301, Wagoner, Okla., May 22: "In 1950 we had 41 additions, 17 by baptism. Interest seems to be higher now than at any time the past four months. Two were baptized May 13. Our spring meeting with Delmar Owens of Tulsa begins May 28, continuing through June 6, with a Vacation Bible School the first week. It was my privilege to conduct two Song Drills in Lubbock, Texas, in March and April. Much interest was manifested. The Lord willing, I plan to teach in the West Texas Music Normal to be held at Plainview, Texas, July 9 to 20. This is the 3rd year for this school there, under the capable direction of brother L. 0. Sanderson. Brethren Wilkin Bacon, Texas Stevens and Palmer Wheeler will also assist.'

A. H. Porterfield, 1725 North Sanders, Poplar Bluff, Mo., May 25: "Congratulations on securing W. Curtis Porte as a staff writer. He is good. Curtis is one of our most able debaters. He knows his lesson . . . I have two dates open for meetings that I should like to fill at once. I have one summer date open.'

W. Wallace Layton, Rt. 8, Box 792, Tucson, Arizona, May 26: "Meetings concluded at Odessa, Penwell, Crane and Big Spring in Texas; and in Alustee, Oklahoma. Results were seventeen baptisms and twelve restorations. At this writing, I am with the Pacific Grove congregation in Pacific Grove, California, where Kermit Nichols preaches. My next immediate meetings are to be at Bellflower and San Pablo, California.'
