New Creatures

On June 21st one was baptized at the West 75th St. church, Shreveport, La., where Huey Hartsell is the evangelist.

During the past four months eight have been baptized at the Park Hill church, Fort Smith, Ark. Gene Frost is the local preacher.

Charles Beatty, preacher for the church in Camden, Ark., reports a baptism in May 15th.

One was baptized recently at the church in elute, Texas, where J. A. Wooley is the local preacher, On June 21st two were baptized at the church in Peoria, I11., where Charles G. Maples preaches.

Seven have recently been baptized at Expressway, Louisville, Ky. James Needham is the faithful preacher.

At Lafayette Heights, Indianapolis, Ind., where William B. Murrell is the preacher, one was baptized recently.

On June 7th one was baptized at Melrose, Florida. Klingman Prentice is the evangelist.

Meetings

Simpsonville, Kentucky — Donald Townsley of Louisville, Ky., will be with the church in Simpsonville, July 27 - Aug. 5.

Shreveport — Bill Cavender of Greggton, Texas, will be with the church in Shreveport, La., July 27 - Aug. 2, according to word from Huey Hartsell, preacher.

Preachers To New Locations

Clint Springer has move from Victoria, Texas, to work with the church in Stanley, La. He moved on July 5th.

The first of August, Thomas G. O'Neal of Jasper, Alabama, will begin full time work with the church in Azalea Park, Orlando, Florida.

New Congregation New Congregation to begin at Ft. Smith, Ark.

The new congregation, known as Southside church of Christ, has secured a temporary meeting place on Cavanaugh road. It is now being readied. No date has been set for the first service, though it will be some time in July. Brother Harold Turner will begin work with the congregation in August.

News Briefs

Larry Bunch, Box 224, Gotebo, Oklahoma, has recently moved to that town to preach the gospel. Recently two have been baptized.

New Publications

Brother Brooks Webb, through arrangements with Sister W. Curtis Porter, will publish many of the works that Brother W. Curtis Porter left. The first of these has recently been printed. It is a sermon outline book, containing 50 of Brother Porter's outlines, just as he left them. The book sells for $2.00. Send your orders to Brooks Webb, Box 200, Nacogdoches, Texas.
