New Creatures

Robert. W. Goodman, preacher for the Southside church, Pasadena, Texas, reports one baptism, Sunday, Nov. 17th.

One was baptized the second Sunday in November at the Riverside Drive church, Nashville, Tenn., where Robert Jackson preaches.

Two have recently been baptized at the Green's Bayou church, Houston, Texas, according to Ardie Brown, the preacher.

Hoyt Houchen, preacher for the North Park church, Abilene, Texas, reports one baptism, November 17th.

During August two were baptized at Highland in San Antonio, Texas. W. L. Wharton and Roger Hendricks are the preachers.

One was baptized Wednesday, November 17th at the church in Dumas, Texas, where Derrel Shaw is the preacher.

During a recent meeting at the Huffman church, Birmingham, Ala., there were ten baptisms. Luther Blackmon preached in the meeting. Frank Smith is the local preacher.

Bob Crawley, preacher for the University Heights church, Lexington, Kentucky, reports four baptisms during a recent meeting with B. G. Hope.

One was baptized, November 10th, at San Bernardino, Calif. Arthur Atkinson is the preacher.

Two were baptized during a meeting at Magnolia, Ark., with John Dillard doing the preaching.

Four have been baptized recently at the church in Port Hueneme, Calif., according to Charles Degenhart, the preacher:

Ferrel Jenkins of Bowling Green, Kentucky, just concluding a meeting in Tomkinsville, Ken. Two were baptized. Ross O. Spears is the local preacher, Three were baptized at Preston Road, Louisville, Ken., Sunday, November 10th. Norman E. Fultz is the local preacher.

James Needham, preacher for the Ex-Pressway church, Louisville, Ken., reports two baptisms the last Wednesday in October.

One was baptized at Simcoe, Ala., during a recent meeting with Bill Hall.

Announcements Received Late

Mira Loma, California — A debate is scheduled December 1-3, 5-6, between Robert E. McCurdy, Christian and Ben Crawford, Baptist. The discussion will be concerning Water Baptism and Apostasy.

News Briefs Chicago, Ill. — The South Halstead Street church moved into their new building the middle of November. Their new address is 3562 South Halstead Street, Chicago 9, Ill. Garreth L. Clair is the preacher. His address is 538 West 44th St., Chicago 9, Ill.

Jeffersonville, Indiana — After meeting for about a year in the school building, the church in Jeffersonville has moved into a building, located 624 E. 10th Street.

In the Nov. 14th GG, I reported that Earl Fly had conducted a meeting at Brown Street, in Akron, Ohio. It was Marshall Patton who conducted the meeting. My apologies to both men.
