New Creatures

One was baptized recently in Rock Springs, Wyoming, according to John W. Pittman, the regular preacher.

Oliver Murray reports the following baptisms during his recent meetings. Mt. Olive, Alabama, two; Columbus, Mississippi, four; Groves, Texas, five.

James Adams, preacher for Tenth and Francis, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, reports a baptism September 15th.

During a recent meeting at Globe, Arizona, one was baptized. Robert Ewell is the preacher.

According to Glen Shaver, preacher for the Shively congregation, Louisville, Kentucky, there have been four baptisms recently.

James Needham, preacher for Expressway, Louisville. Kentucky, reports a baptism. September 5th.

William E. Wallace, Belmont church, Indianapolis, Ind., reports a baptism, September I 1th.

One was baptized September 15th at the West End church, Franklin, Tenn., according to Martin Lemon, the preacher.

Meetings This Week

Meridian, Mississippi — Al Payne of Jackson, Miss., will be with the church which meets at 7th St. and 30th ave., October 14-20, according to A. C. Grider, the preacher.

Owensboro, Kentucky — The church in Owensboro will have a meeting, October 13-22, with Ferrel Jenkins of Bowling Green, Kentucky, doing the preaching. Bobby Witherington is the local preacher.

Lufkin, Texas — Robert Farish, preacher for the Fourth and Groesbeck church, announces a meeting for October 14-20, with W. L. Wharton of San Antonio, doing the preaching.

Piney, West Virginia — Weldon Warnock of Lawrenceburg, Tenn., will be with the church in Piney, Oct. 14-20. Louisville, Kentucky — Robert Crawley will be with the Central church, October 14-20.

Louisville, Kentucky — Ocio Limb will be with the Haldeman Ave. church, October 13-20, according to Cecil Douthitt, the regular preacher.

Hessville, Indiana — Carrol Sutton will be at Hessville, October 14-20.

Pasadena, Texas — Cecil Willis of Akron, Ohio, will be with the Red Bluff Road church, October 13-20. Luther Blackmon is the regular preacher.

Cincinnati, Ohio — William B. Murrel of Indianapolis, Indiana, will be with the Valley church, October 14-23.

Lawrenceburg, Tenn. — Hershel Patton, preacher for the Downtown church, announces a meeting for October 13-22, with Robert Jackson of Nashville, Tenn., doing the preaching.

West Point, Mississippi — Robert Farish of Lufkin, Tex., will preach in a meeting at West Point, October 18-25. Joe F. Moore is the local preacher.

Dunmore, Kentucky — James P. Needham will be with the church in Dunmore, October 14-19,

Preachers To New Locations

McMinnville, Oregon — Choice L. Bryant has recently moved from Eugene, Oregon, to McMinnville, Oregon. His address is: 210 Lincoln Street.

Del Rio — Theo R. Haas is now preaching for the church in Del Rio. He is with the Northside church. His address is: 1109 Ave. I. He formerly preached for the church in Decatur, Tens.

San Angelo, Texas — Derrel Starling, formerly with the Northside church in Del Rio, Texas, has moved to work with the new church in San Angelo. This is a new congregation and needs the support of all faithful brethren everywhere.

Sparks Nevada — After six years with the church in Red Bluff, California, Norton Dye has moved to Sparks, Nev., to preach for the church, Salem, Ohio — Billy K. Farris, a successful draftsman by trade, has recently moved to Salem, Ohio, to work with the church there. The church is small, having begun only last spring. The church is able to furnish only the building and operating expenses. They are not able even to support Farris partially. He will do secular work until his support can be secured. Partial support would enable him to be free more for the Lord's work. Full information on the Salem work will be sent on request. If you are interested in this work, contact: Billy K. Steele, Missouri — Huston Gately has moved from Swainsboro, Georgia, to work with the Boon's Chapel church in Steele.

Beaver Dam, Kentucky — Bill James has recently moved to work with the church in Beaver Dam.

Corner, Alabama — Joe Corley has moved to Corner, Alabama, to work with this church. This congregation only started last April.

Oneonta, Alabama — Raymond Shackleford is now preaching for the church which meets in the old Farmer's Cafe building. It is known as the 4th Street church.

New Congregations

Richard Weaver, preacher for the 4th Street church, Cullman, Alabama, reports a new congregation starting at Fayetteville, Tennessee, and also at Jackson, Tenn.

New Orleans, La. — A new congregation is now meeting in New Orleans. Through the efforts of a brother Shinder, who is in L. S. U. medical school, this church was established. News Briefs

S. L. Edwards — The church in Lewisburg, Tenn., will support their preacher in four or five meetings each year in places that cannot afford to pay for one. For added information write to him: S. L. Glen W. Lovelady — He has recently begun his third year with the church in Fontana, California. He reports they are holding their own and working in peace and harmony. During the last year he has conducted meetings in Hemet, Colton, Bakersfield, Coachella, San Bernardino, all of these in California, and in Phoenix, Ariz. He has meetings scheduled in Oct. in San Diego and Santa Anna, California. His address is 9132 Sierra Ave., Fontana, Calif.

Charles F. House, Box 641, San Luis, Arizona, USA, 85349: Two were baptized during September at Tecate, Baja California, Mexico, and two have been baptized recently at San Luis R. C., Sonora, Mexico. The following was also received from Charles House: "I am still interested in hearing from sound congregations who are interested in doing work on a long range basis in Old Mexico. I am seeking one or more congregations who would be willing to fully support my work beginning Jan. 1, 1964.
