News Briefs

Harry L. Hawkins, Monte Vista church of Christ, Phoenix, Arizona: "I have enjoyed a very pleasant year working with the Monte Vista congregation under the capable oversight of four God-fearing elders. Numerically there have been 9 baptisms, and seven restored to duty.

The spiritual growth is manifested in many ways and can be seen in the teaching program, a training program, plans to increase support of the gospel in other places and enlarging the present facilities and to have at least two gospel meetings a year.

When in Phoenix, you have a cordial invitation to worship with the Monte Vista church, 40th Street and Monte Vista.
