Ralph E. Len, Rt. 3. Box 1145, Modesto. California: "New congregation at ESCALON, CALIFORNIA was established by L. L. FREEMAN eighteen months ago with twelve in attendance. We now have our own building and are self supporting with an average attendance of 70. John Wilson of San Bernardino will do the preaching in a meeting Nov. 1st thru Nov. 8th. Come worship with us when in the San Joaquin Valley-1303 Irwin St., Escalon."

W. E. (Bud) Irvine, P. O. Box 616. Earth, Texas: "During 1959 I held meetings in Canyonville and Lebanon, Oregon; Renton, Washington; Loveland. Colorado and just recently closed a brief meeting with the Crescent Park congregation in Odessa, Texas, which resulted in one baptism and one restoration. There have been five restorations and two baptisms here at Earth recently. After five years of work with the Earth church we will move to Odessa the first of the year, Lord willing, to work with the Crescent Park congregation, following brother Paul Foutz. Lord willing I shall be in the northwest again next year for meetings during the month of March."

Neal B. Smith, Asheville, North Carolina: "Brother liven Lee, of Russellville, Alabama, will be speaking in a five night series of gospel meetings for the Haywood Road church in Asheville, North Carolina November 2 through 6. Service time is 7:30 P.M. each evening."

Floyd H. Keith, 4525 E. Pontiac Wy., Fresno 3, Calif: "I was with the Bethel congregation, near Lavaca, Ark. in a Gospel Meeting August 17-26. The little congregation there consisted of 19 souls at the beginning of the meeting but due to their efforts and the sacrificial work of Bro. Jerry Rainwater, (the regular preacher there) there were eight who obeyed their Lord in baptism. Brethren, this was no accident but hard work. When people aren't there they will not obey the Gospel which they have not heard."

Paul Brock, 121 Tucker, Dyersburg: Tennessee: "A recent meeting with Grand Ave. in Chicago resulted in five restored and three baptisms. Harvey Williams is the capable evangelist there. Oaks Gowen of Bradenton, Florida preached in our meeting in September and Hayden Mahan led the singing. We were well pleased with the work of these two men. We have had no better lessons than those presented by Bro. Gowen. I leave tonight for a meeting in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada where Tom Bunting preaches. In recent weeks we have had six baptisms in Market Street church."

M. A. Mansur, 731 W. Oklahoma, Vinita, Oklahoma: "The church here just completed a very fine gospel meeting with a different speaker each evening. On was restored. The Will of the Lord was proclaimed by the following gospel preachers: Bro. Lloyd Lawhon, Carthage, Mo.; Bro. Lucien Baguette, Bartlesville, Oklahoma; Bro. Bobby Key, Miami, Okla.; Bro. William H. Boa; Pryor, Okla.; Bro. A. C. Williams, Aurora, Mo.; Bro. M. Lloyd Smith, Chelsea, Okla.; and Bro. M. A. Mansur, Vinta, Okla. When traveling stop and worship with the Church here at 350 South Scraper, in Vinita, Oklahoma."

Porter-Guinn Debate

"Brother W. Curtis will meet Mr. Chester Guinn, Vice-President of the Baptist Bible College, Henderson, Texas, in a six night debate in Clute, Texas, beginning Monday night December 7th at 7:30 P.M. The first three nights the debate will be conducted in the Unity Baptist church building, about two blocks off Hwy. 288 to the right as you come into Clute. The last three nights will be in the Clute church of Christ building, 343 South Main. The subjects discussed will be baptism and apostasy, baptism the first three nights and apostasy the last three."

John Bullock, Box 726, Farmersville, Texas: "After working with the Hill Street church in Farmersville for over three years I shall be moving to Borger, Texas November 17th to work with the Franklin and Juniper Streets congregation. The work here at Hill Street has been the most difficult and trying in my preaching career, but in spite of all obstacles, records of attendance, contributions, and responses have been at an all time high during the past three years for this old congregation. The brethren have invited me to remain here, but I feel like I should move on. My home address in Borger will be 1014 Coble Street. We invite you to visit with us if you are in Borger."
